Chapter 7 Part 2: Yuichi’s Battle → The Turtles Take Over
Leo and Yuichi in the sky
Yuichi opened his eyes again. When he locked eyes with Leo’s tearful ones, the rabbit started crying in his chest. Trembling, he could only think about wanting to live, to be saved by someone.
As they held each other tightly, the enemy turned around instantly, his eyes widened. At first, his monotone demeanor turned into anger, but then… shock.
Leo and Yuichi in the sky: enemy’s POV
“Hamato…” a demonic voice spoke in his mind.
“What?!” the enemy spoke. As his hands had fully regenerated, he was about to release that massive attack that had been charging up. However, he stopped, as the husk of a man started having visions.
Leo and Yuichi stood in front of him, their eyes being invincible by the non-existent light. Their hands were joined together within a blue flame. Then, a massive green light started to emerge from it, blinding the villain inside the hallucination.

He felt the sensation of a new power, something that could stop anything in its path. Not only could it harm the body… No, his inner core was in grave danger.
Panicking, he started to release his attack again. However, as a massive red fist slammed down onto the villain, he instead released the massive laser beam of concentrated fire and electricity onto the arm.
The mystic arm broke instantly. Raph was sweating. He felt shocked, eyes widening. It was one of his strongest moves, training months to precise and perfect it.
As Donnie and Mikey were getting into formation, they looked determined at each other, their weapons ready to be used.
Leo and Yuichi quickly went through another portal, while Raph, Mikey and Donnie jumped closer towards the enemy.
Back at the lair
April and Splinter were already waiting for Yuichi’s arrival, as medical supplies were scattered all throughout the lair.
A blue portal appeared, with Leo bringing Yuichi over his shoulder. The rabbit was almost unconscious at this point. With his eyes still wet from the tears, he managed to blurt something out.
“Creation… anything…”
Leo looked at Yuichi, puzzled by what he meant. He then realized he also got hit a bit by all the lightning the criminal was creating, as he felt some bruising on his arm and mouth.
“What is happening, why didn’t you take my call?” April cried out. Tears were swelling in her eyes, her body trembling thoroughly. “I am worried sick.”
Splinter started yelling too. Full of rage, with his fists clenching, he looked at Yuichi’s unconscious body.
“LEONARDO, make a portal and take me back there, I will deal with that monster myself.”
“I am coming too!” April yelled. Leo, with an annoyed but stressed expression on his face, looked back at both of them. He did not have time to deal with this when a situation this urgent was happening.
“We need a few people to look after Yuichi, he is the one being hunted specifically. Tend to his wounds, we will deal with the one in the city.”
Leo started drawing another portal with one of his swords.
“NO.” But… as April and Splinter were about to protest even more, almost yelling profanities at the turtle, he already teleported back to the battlefield.
With the TV still on, April and Splinter watched as they tended Yuichi’s wounds. The rabbit was trembling, barely getting out the words: “Thank you.”
April and Splinter looked worried at Yuichi for a second. As they were about to tend to his wounds, people crying out of happiness could be heard throughout the lair. It came from the television.
“OUR HEROES ARE HERE,” Onlookers cried out. “THEY WILL SAVE US.”
April however, was worried sick. From all the stress, she felt nauseous, with urges to vomit.
She did not want to think about this crisis. As unwanted thoughts emerged, Splinter and the woman looked at each other.
How was their chosen family going to defeat such a powerful enemy?
The battle in New York
With intense speed, Mikey shot multiple chains towards his opponent.
An iron bubble began forming in the air. This time, however, the flying villain couldn’t react in time. The chains shot through the villain, one in the chest and another one in his hip.
Donnie started to create a bayonet as his weapon, first shooting at him. He then jumped, aiming the sharp part of his weapon at the person’s head. Raphael supported him, trying to catch and grab him.
The enemy’s arm was held up, lighting forming all around it. The turtles were immediately met with a massive blast of electricity, damaging the roofs of several buildings, debris falling on the ground.
Donnie, instead of attacking, decided to prioritize himself with a shield by spinning his bayonet around. The electricity was blocked by it, with Raph barely managing to pick him up out of the air.

Mikey however, was not so lucky. As a result of the electricity’s impact, a part of the roof hit him straight in the jaw. Mikey’s cheek started burning and swelling as he felt the side of his face hurting.
The 3 turtles looked at the enemy flying above them, realizing Mikey’s attack was already nullified by the healing of the villain.
Another company of troops appeared on the ground, shooting at the sky, providing support for the turtles. However, they were no match to the flying human. This time, he started creating different sharp metal forms and shooting them towards the soldiers on the ground.
Leo came through a portal behind the turtles. His face was determined, ready to save the city. But… when he looked at Mikey however, his eyes widened. The short moment he had left, one of his brothers was already hurt.
“What are we going to do?! He is invincible!” Raph yelled.
Mikey was looking bleak, trying to hold it together. He was watching the troops fight, as he held his hand on his face.
“He can attack and heal himself…” Donnie muttered, thinking about a possible solution to their situation.
Then it hit Leo… could it be…
(“creation… anything…”)
“He can create anything he wants. Yuichi told me.” Leo was looking at the battle happening.
Silence arose. The turtles did not know what to expect next. Then… Mikey completely snapped. His face was red, and not just from the attack he had received.
“THAT IS THE MOST POWERFUL ABILITY EVER. AND I CAN FEEL IT’S A MYSTIC POWER ASWELL, FROM A HUMAN NONETHELESS.”
Everyone looked at Mikey with their eyes widened, except Donnie of course, as he was still thinking of a way to solve this high level puzzle.
“I have a plan…” Donnie said. “It’s hard to explain, but get him onto a roof, or the ground, it doesn’t matter.”
“You sure?” Leo questioned.
Donnie nodded slightly less sure of himself than he usually did, meaning he wasn’t 100% sure it would work. However, the turtles all looked at Donnie, remembering how smart he was. Even though he could be a jerk, they believed in him when putting their lives on the line.
The battle in New York: enemy’s POV
As he flew through the sky, looking around for the turtles, nobody was shooting anymore. The soldiers were already taken out.
“Small amounts of air and kinetic energy to push my body any way I want.” He was muttering under his breath. He then saw a turtle with an orange bandana. Mikey was all on his own, on one of the damaged buildings.
As the villain rushed towards him, Mikey started attacking and created a massive chain, wielding it like a whip. The villain immediately blocked it with his arms and hands, engulfed in metal. It did not have much of an effect, as the whip’s strength started to create holes in his arms.
The villain was trying to counterattack, bone-like tendrils coming out from his arms and spine towards Mikey. Then, Leo emerged from a portal next to him, cutting them all off.
Realizing he couldn’t do precise attacks against these two turtles at the same time, he immediately created a massive air explosion, black-purple energy everywhere.
Leo and Mikey anticipated this, and Leo proceeded to teleport his little brother and himself away.
When the attack was over, Raph immediately created another massive arm to hit the villain, bringing him all the way down to the ground.
Onlookers were cheering for their heroes. They were holding posters, merchandise, anything to show their support. The entire world was watching the situation in New York.
As the criminal fell onto the ground, still healing himself from all the attacks, a massive amount of portals appeared all around him.
Then… multiple purple lasers came through, burning the enemy, trapping him in the process.

Donnie was standing on a balcony. His attack was inspired by the mega blastoise from his game that he used to play, as he held the plasma like cannons in his arms. Mikey and Raph positioned themselves around the blast, ready to stop any counterattack.
The battle in New York
The sound of the laserbeams was insanely hard, making communication difficult for the turtles.
“IS THIS GONNA DO IT?” Leo yelled through the sound of the mystic energy protruding from Donnie’s machines.
Donnie was sweating, feeling his muscles ache from the strain of all the cannons. “NO, HE IS JUST HELD IN PLACE. IF THIS WOULD DO IT, YOUR FURBALL KNIGHT COULD HAVE ENDED HIM. WE NEED SOMETHING EVEN STRONGER.”
Leo, being caught off-guard by the joke, still laughed a little bit. He didn’t want to downlift Donnie’s spirit, who was working insanely hard for the team. Another massive cannon emerged from Donnie’s back, firing at the sky.
“HE IS USING ALL HIS ENERGY, HEALING HIMSELF. SEE SHELDON UP THERE? I CAN CHARGE HIM WITH MY POWER, THEN… IT WILL FALL WHEN IT’S TOO MUCH, CREATING A MASSIVE BLAST THAT WILL TAKE CARE OF ANYTHING.”
Leo had expected Donnie to be more dramatic, but the softshell turtle was deadly serious. He looked insanely determined and was going to sacrifice his favorite robot to take the enemy down…
Back at the lair
Yuichi, who was laying on the couch, was more awake now. He could see what was happening on the battlefield from the television. With a voice full of desperation, he was begging Splinter and April to go back to his friends.
“Please let me help,” Yuichi pleaded. “I can’t lose the people I care about again!”
Splinter didn’t say anything at first. He did feel emotional from what Yuichi said, about the ones he lost. The rodent sympathized with Yuichi, who cared about his sons.
“Yuichi, you are hurt…” Splinter looked very defeated at the floor, Yuichi’s eyes still red from all the tears.
“Sweety, let the others take care of it for you…” April said softly, her voice trembling slightly. Saying that, she felt like a bit of a hypocrite, since she wanted to join the fight herself. In this case though, Yuichi was wounded and there was no way it would end well.
The rabbit managed to stand up, groaning as everything hurt. In no way, shape or form was he ready to enter the battlefield again, especially against that monster.
Splinter ran into the kitchen, looking for more painkillers. April slightly pushed Yuichi to sit with her on the couch. Sitting against each other for comfort, they looked at the massive sphere on the television.
The battle in New York
“SHELDON IS ALMOST LOADED, BUT TO FULLY ACTIVATE HIM, I NEED TO FOCUS EVERYTHING ONTO HIM. MIKEY, RAPH.”
Mikey and Raphael stood ready, weapons in hand, they were going to subdue the enemy.
Leo was ready to teleport them away from the blast, so only the villain was going to get hit.
As the plan was almost fully finished, Donnie started firing the lasers at Sheldon only.
Then… a massive sound could be heard.
Mikey and Raph looked confused, but they threw their attacks into the direction where the sphere was.
As Sheldon fell… nothing… no blast at all…
“No…” Donnie quietly, but desperately said.
The enemy was subdued by Raph and Mikey, his whole body burned, purple energy emanating from his body.
“WHAT HAPPENED?” Leo was panicking, how could Sheldon just give in at this point?
“HE GAMBLED BY STOPPING TO HEAL HIMSELF TO CREATE RADIO WAVES.” Donnie couldn’t even finish his sentence, as a massive explosion instantly filled the street.
As Raph immediately used his mystic body to protect Mikey, he still got blown away against a wall, his head hit in the process.
The person, who was still burned, though slightly less than before, rushed to Donnie.
Leo tried to intercept him, slicing the villain’s chest. Unfortunately, a massive muscle-like vine spawned from his arm. Leo almost dodged it, but the very end of the whip shot him into a building.
Donnie was insanely fatigued, not believing his eyes. He never anticipated the possibility that creation could mean sound- or radio waves for that matter.
Then immediately, the burned husk kicked Donnie against the wall. Rushing towards the soft-shelled turtle, he grabbed his throat with a massive arm, panting loudly. “Impressive… you are even better than all those who came before.”
Defeated, eyes barely opened… Donnie looked at the ground.
“Holding you hostage is dangerous. I will beat Yuichi’s location out of the portal wielder later. So, as I heal myself, do you have any last words?”
Back at the lair
Everything was playing out on social media and TV. Onlookers were screaming, crying, and praying on the street.
Yuichi was screaming too. Even though he obviously didn’t have a connection with Donnie, he secretly admired his passion for machines and the fact that he trained a lot. Yuichi also didn’t want the other brothers to start going through what he had gone through.
Splinter was crying. Breathing heavily, with his claws in front of his mouth, he was desperate for something to happen.
April, with tears in her eyes, lips quivering, held Yuichi close, almost suffocating him. He did take notice of it, and fell into April’s embrace. With a lump in his throat, he felt insanely guilty the turtles got involved after all…

The battle in New York
(“As I heal myself, do you have any last words?”)
Donnie’s eyes opened again. Filled with rage, his face red from the anger, his mystic energy immediately started surging again.
Then, a smile appeared, tears flowing down his face. He knew what had to be done.
“You really think you can threaten my family like that?”
The enemy looked intently at Donnie. Still healing himself from the previous damage, he prepared a claymore from his other arm, as creating something from the ‘pumped up’ arm would risk damaging the body with too many creations.
Donnie’s smile faded, and he completely lost it. “I WILL NEVER LET MY BROTHER GO THROUGH THAT AGAIN,” And as Donnie said this, massive, mystic tentacles appeared from his fingers, massive syringes on each of them, with highly concentrated energy.
As the villain tried to slice Donnie’s throat, Mikey chained his arm, preventing his attack. Leo started to wake up and instinctively threw a sword to Donnie’s location.
All the syringes were injected into the human’s body, whose body started to turn purple. Then… All kinds of explosions appeared from his flesh, wounds appearing. Screams started to come from the enemy, who was being burned from the inside. Donnie was let go, fainting immediately. He used so much of his mystic power that he could not fight anymore.
In the villain’s mind was a massive version of Donnie, almost demon-like, with white pupils and claws. Massive mechanical arms were coming out of his battle shell, running toward him. The massive version of the soft-shelled turtle started to pull him apart.
“HAMATOO.” Everybody was shocked, this was not a human screaming. It sounded otherworldly, distorted and not right. Then, the massive muscled arm broke free of Mikey’s chain. Starting to fly again, the villain was out of balance, as he hit several buildings in the process.
Raph awoke again, met with a sword from Leo, who created a portal. Along with Mikey, they immediately started chasing the human. Leo was tending to Donnie, checking his injuries, especially his soft-shell.
The villain flew through the debris. His mind was still occupied with the massive turtle who had outsmarted him. It was ripping his power apart. Donnie was, outside the physical body, literally hurting his inner core, ferociously using his teeth to rip it apart.

A spider-like creature, that was latched onto his soul, was being ripped off piece by piece. It was being destroyed by the pure mystic power Donnie inserted, empowered by sacrificial energy to save his family, making sure they would make it out alive.
“YOU USELESS PIECES OF TRASH-@&#@#&&@#(&@.” Demonic gibberish echoed through New York. As the ‘human’ flew away, Mikey shot several chains again, some of which hit the villain. Then, Raph and Mikey combined their chains and massive fists to attack one last time.
The spider-like creature couldn’t be seen anymore inside the human’s soul. The purple color from his eye started to disappear… As he turned around, he didn’t see Raph and Mikey attack him. No… he saw Donnie, his huge fist coming toward him. Instilled with fear, with tears in his eyes and hands in front of him, he screamed…
“GET AWAY FROM MEEEEEEEE.”
This time, it sounded like a sad little boy, almost too human. Nothing like the emotionless husk or demon they fought before. His purple eye was wholly gone at this point.

As Raph and Mikey’s attack almost connected, the villain created a massive airblast to propel himself backwards while simultaneously slowing down the 2 turtles significantly.
The attack used so much energy that his body was wounded even more. He didn’t care, he needed to get out of there desperately.
Unfortunately… he escaped in the end.
The turtles regrouped, all having a sad look on their face. Leo immediately signaled with his fingers about Donnie’s wellbeing, the other two immediately running over to see if they could help. Looking at the sky above, their enemy, who now appeared to be a small dot, was getting further and further away. Being terrified about what just happened, they couldn’t help but wonder…
What was Yuichi hiding?
